Young Person's Sanctuary
At Mind BLMK, we have been working with CAMHS (NHS ELFT) to introduce the Young Person’s Sanctuary to Central Beds; to support young people aged 14 – 17 who are struggling with their mental health or experiencing a mental health crisis. 4pm – 10pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Meadow Way Community Centre, Leighton Buzzard LU7 3XY

The Chatty Cafe
TACTIC is working in partnership with Bassett Road Surgery Patient Participation Group (PPG) to bring you the Chatty Café. The Chatty Café is a national scheme which aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness by encouraging people of all ages to interact through conversation and a free cup of tea and cake. We are now holding weekly Chatty Café sessions at the TACTIC Centre – 17 Hockliffe Street, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1EZ on Tuesdays from 10am-1pm.

Social Prescribing
Social Prescribing link workers give people time, focusing on 'what matters to me' and taking a holistic approach to peoples health and wellbeing. They connect people to community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support. We can support with social isolation and loneliness, healthy lifestyle choices, long term health conditions, housing, work and money issues and low mood. Ask for a referral form or speak to your GP.

A welcoming place where friends from Ukraine and their hosts can meet others, talk, relax and build friendships. Every Thursday from 10am-12pm at Hockliffe Street Baptist Church. With coffee, tea, cold drinks and cakes, it's also a good way to find help accessing the amenities needed to build a life away from home.
