In line with Government guidelines our playgrounds will remain open, albeit with strict restrictions in place.
To minimise risk, numbers are limited and hygiene measures must be adhered to.

The Skate Park located in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground, Tennis and Basketball courts located in Pages Park and all outdoor gyms will be closed until further notice.
Unfortunately all sports fixtures and venue hire bookings will be cancelled until further notice.

Linslade Memorial Pavilion is situated in Linslade Memorial Playing Fields and Garden of Remembrance. The surrounding area comprises of a large open space, two children’s play areas and a memorial garden.
The venue offers one large function hall, toilets and a small kitchen which comes as part of the hire package. As well as being hired commercially by clubs and groups, the venue is also available for private parties and functions.
Private functions can be accommodated on a Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 09:30 – 17:00.

The dimensions of the main hall in the pavilion are:
7 metres wide by 12 metres long. The ceiling height is 2.3m adjacent to the window and 3.1m in the centre. Door openings are 1.5m wide.

Linslade Memorial Pavilion hiring costs from 1st April 2020:
Standard rate £22.20 per hour
Off-peak hourly rate (applicable Mon-Fri 1:00pm-4:00pm) £14.40 per hour
A member of staff will greet you at the Pavilion and let you in at the time you have stated on your booking form. They will explain Fire exit procedures and give you the ‘Hirers Box’ which includes a First Aid Kit, Soap for the toilets, tea towels etc.
We are happy for you to bring your own food and drinks and hire entertainers for your event.
We allow decorations to be put up with White-Tak. We also allow the use of bubble machines and soft play equipment.
Bouncy Castles are not covered by our insurance. If you would like to have a bouncy castle at Linslade Memorial Pavilion, you must obtain a copy of the bouncy castle providers’ public liability insurance for our records.
The bouncy castle must be manned at all times by the provider. Please advise us when booking if you would like to have a bouncy castle and include this on your booking form.
