These are a few of the subjects that concern most teenagers at some time or another. Don’t worry you’re not on your own and we have a team of youth workers or specialist advice workers available to help you and/or your friend.
If you’re aged between 12 and 19 and live in the Leighton-Linslade area, please don’t hesitate to contact us confidentially with any worries and challenges you may have. We are here to help.
Our team of Youth Workers are always on hand to give confidential advice and support on issues that affect your life. If you need help with a particular problem we can often gain support from different specialist agencies and organisations we work closely with.
We deal with your queries or concerns in a friendly, caring and confidential manner and we will always be open and honest with you.
Young People Awards
Three young people received an award at the end of December for showing perseverance to overcome challenges and make personal achievements.
Dylan was nominated through the “Yes We Can” disability sport programme, Alicia “Lissy” was nominated by the T. S. Ocean Naval Cadets and Olivia was nominated by the TACTIC Additional Needs Group.
Town Mayor Councillor Kharawala said “These three winners have shown such strength and determination in overcoming a range of challenges – they are an inspiration to us all”.
The Young People awards are a new initiative as a part of the wider Community Volunteer Awards launched by the Town Council in 2020. The Council intends to invite nominations for the next round of Young People awards in summer 2021.
