As part of Mindful March we’ve created this short video all about looking after your personal wellbeing. Click here to view Look After Yourself.
These are a few of the subjects that concern most teenagers at some time or another. Don’t worry you’re not on your own and we have a team of youth workers or specialist advice workers available to help you and/or your friend.
If you’re aged between 12 and 19 and live in the Leighton-Linslade area, please don’t hesitate to contact us confidentially with any worries and challenges you may have. We are here to help.
Our team of Youth Workers are always on hand to give confidential advice and support on issues that affect your life. If you need help with a particular problem we can often gain support from different specialist agencies and organisations we work closely with.
We deal with your queries or concerns in a friendly, caring and confidential manner and we will always be open and honest with you.
Why another survey for young people aged 12-16? If Council’s don’t ask for information, they don’t know what you think about services or what services you use and rate. In 2019 Leighton-Linslade Town Council did a small survey with young people, which resulted in new outdoor table tennis tables being put in our parks.
This is another short survey focussing on ‘youth provision’ managed separately by Leighton-Linslade Town Council or Central Bedfordshire Council, who form the Partnership Committee. This refers to local parks, clubs and services provided directly for young people aged 12-16 years.
If you have done this survey before at school or at club, there is no need to fill it out again. Thank you
By completing the survey, you give the Partnership Committee an idea about what you like doing and what you think. No one can trace back your answers to you – it’s an anonymous survey. Please do the survey and help us to understand more about the local youth provision used or needed.
Three young people received an award at the end of December 2020 for showing perseverance to overcome challenges and make personal achievements. Town Mayor Councillor Kharawala said “These three winners have shown such strength and determination in overcoming a range of challenges – they are an inspiration to us all”.

A postal service is being operated for free condoms yet whilst you are on the website, explore it and see what they say on many sex related issues. The Relationships section is good. We care about you and would like you to care about yourself too.
