Living History Trail

We went through several different names and ideas; we wanted the trail to represent the people of our past and what impact they have made today. We thought this name was a good representation of that.

With so much history in Leighton-Linslade this was a difficult task. We wanted to ensure that we represented both men and women. We wanted to include those that may have been left undiscovered, as well as a few familiar names.  

We consulted with local organisations, local residents and family members of those in the trail.  

The app offers a full interactive experience. Using GPS the app can track where you are in terms of location on the trail (with your permission) so it makes it a more user friendly experience. The app offers audio, a quiz and a selfie function.
