We invite you all to come and celebrate not only local food and produce but food from all around the world. 'Have a go' workshops and live demonstrations will be happening on the day
Linslade Canal Festival
Celebrating traditional skills, canal life, conservation, the countryside and the traditional rural crafts of yesteryear.
Music in the Park
Live music in our historic bandstand throughout June - September. Bring a chair and come and enjoy the music. Refreshments available from Cafe in the Park.
Living History Day
Our Living history event always takes place in October, we take you back to explore and celebrate different times in history.
Community events & projects
Red Riding Hood
9th - 25th January 2020. Leighton Buzzard Drama Group present Red Riding Hood at LB Library Theatre. Thur/Fri performances at 19:15, Saturday performances at 11:00, 14:30 and 18:00. Tickets can be purchased at LB Library Theatre or through LB Drama Group
This popular event has been taking place in Leighton Buzzard for over 20 years. The event welcomes many stalls (trade, food and charity) which fill the High Street. There is a funfair and children's rides in Church Square and Parson's Close Recreation Ground.
Saturday 6th June 2020. A popular event seeing an impressive truck convoy make its way through Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard. Meeting at an end location for celebration event raising money for charity. Follow the link below for more info.
Vintage Vehicles Rally
Held in June, the rally is a popular event held at Pages Park, displaying around 100 vintage and classic cars, buses, commercial, military and other service vehicles. There is no charge for entry to the show for entrants and visitors, but donations are appreciated from both.
Picnic in the Park
Taking place on the fourth Wednesday in June each year. Summer time fun for your little ones! Entertainment arena, programme of entertainment, attractions and rides, free activities and crafts, shopping stalls and food and drink for everyone to enjoy.
Companion Dog Show
July 2020. Linslade Obedience and Ringcraft Club hold their annual Companion Dog Show every July in Linslade Recreation Ground. The Show is open to all and is a fund raising event for two local charities, usually dog or animal related.
Linslade Carnival is held on the second Saturday of July every year in Parson's Close Recreation Ground from 11am until 4pm. The Carnival raises money for good causes and is a great family friendly event with stalls, rides, the float procession and more.
Taking place in September, Hope Fest is a family fun music festival. The aim of Hope Fest is to raise awareness and vital funds to support the charity 'Hope For The Homeless'. Follow the link below for more information
September 2020 A family friendly Movie, Gaming and Comic Festival held at Brooklands Middle School, raising money for Charity. This years chosen charity is Keech Hospice. Follow the link to find out more
Sand and Motorbikes Show
September 2020. Organised by Leighton Buzzard Railway, and held in Pages Park, the show is free to attend, with club stands, trade stands, charity stands and refreshments. Follow the link below for more info.
November 2020. The Leighton-Linslade Rotary Club's annual firework display takes place at Brooklands Middle School. A popular event with families, there are food stalls, rides and a spectacular firework display.
November 2020. Annual Remembrance Parade from Lake Street to Church Square from 10:15. There are a number of events throughout the day, including the Remembrance Day service.
Christmas Tree Festival
Friday 20th - Sunday 23rd November 2020. St Barnabas Church and All Saints Church take turns to hold the annual Christmas Tree Festival, showcasing a beautiful collection of trees decorated by local groups.
