The Cultural & Economic Services Committee has taken the decision to cancel the following events: Canal Festival (25th July), Big Lunch (re-scheduled for 16th August) and all Music in the Park concerts in June & July.  At this point in time, the Music in the Park concerts for August and September will only take place if permitted, and following Government and Public Health England guidelines for the hospitality and entertainments industries. Where we can, we will offer alternative activities or link-ups through social media platforms.
As it is likely there will be a requirement for social distancing measures to be in place throughout September & October, the decision was made to cancel the Business Network Event which had been rescheduled for 9th September at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club. Wherever we can, we are seeking alternative delivery options and this is true for our Living History event scheduled for the 5th October, which will now be replaced with a series of smaller demonstrations and exhibits across September and October if Government guidelines allow the Council to do so.

We would like to thank our sponsors, stall holders, demonstrators and performers for their understanding during these unprecedented times. We look forward to seeing them, along with the residents of Leighton-Linslade at our events again soon.
