Music in the Park
Returning to Parson’s Close Recreation Ground on Sunday 4th June 2023. From June to September, Music in the Park takes place on Sunday afternoons beginning at 3pm.
Our Last Night of the Proms & Picnic in the Park evening will return on Saturday 9th September.
For many years now the Town Council has organised concerts to showcase brass and silver bands from around the region with Jazz and popular bands also represented throughout the years.
A diverse music offering ensures an entertaining programme to suit all tastes on the historic bandstand which Parson’s Close Recreation Ground offers.
Accessible toilet facilities including a changing places toilet are available within the park next to the Splash and Play.
