Event Information
Linslade Canal Festival
The ever popular one-day Canal Festival will return to Tiddenfoot Waterside Park on Saturday 29th July 2023. The festival celebrates and highlights canal life, conservation, the countryside and traditional rural crafts.
This years Canal Festival will feature traditional craft demonstrators including stick makers, skep builders and wood carvers who will share their skills with visitors whilst local charities will be on hand to educate and inform visitors about their work within the natural environment.
Along the tow-path, those attending will delight in the working, trade and pleasure boats who join the event. Trade boats offer the chance to purchase handmade items and canal themed memorabilia whilst the historic working boats provide a glimpse into the past and the workings behind the canal in yesteryear.
For those looking forward to musical entertainment at the festival, our programme is still being confirmed but will feature traditional musicians throughout the day in the paddocks area. Along side the musical entertainment, hand and artisan crafters will be in the craft tent and a traditional hand-turned funfair will provide entertainment for younger visitors.
Trader, demonstrator and boat mooring (trade, pleasure and historic) pitches are now available to book via our booking forms. Please Note; we reserve the right to offer an alternative pitch where an incorrect form has been completed.
