Yes, the event is free to attend.

Answer 2

Toilets are available throughout the day and are situated in the Lakeside area of the site near the main entrance and close to the Green Bridge which crosses the canal.

Yes, the event is dog friendly, however we do ask visitors to keep dogs on leads and clear up after their dog. Spare dog waste bags are available from the information point near the main entrance.

Accessible parking is available in Cedars School (£2.50 per car) and an accessible courtesy vehicle will provide transport to the festival site throughout the day.

There are some pathways around site which are accessible however due to the nature of the site, some areas are accessed across grass and rougher terrain.

A variety of food and drink options are available on site throughout the day. The on-site catering offer is varied and able to cater for most dietary requirements, including vegan. Please check with vendors for ingredients lists prior to purchasing.

A full licensed bar will be available in the Paddocks area and soft drinks available from vendors across the site.

The site can get quite busy and certain areas will be loud with the live music performances and demonstrations from the chain-saw carver. The lakeside area of the site is often quieter than the Paddocks and the Poplar areas of the site. The remainder of the lake area is open and available for visitors to walk around and enjoy some peace and quiet whilst visiting the event.

The event runs between 11:00 – 17:00hrs. The car park is open from 10:30hrs and will close at 18:00hrs.

There is a manned information point at the main entrance to the festival site, adjacent to the car-park at Tiddenfoot Waterside Park.

Speak to a member of our security & stewarding team who will be wearing a hi-vis jacket who will be able to contact our First Aid team. Alternatively, a First Aid post is situated close to the main entrance on Mentmore Road.

We have a dedicated team of security and stewards on site who will be on hand to help you throughout your visit. They will be easily identified in either orange or yellow hi-vis jackets and will be available across the site.

All lost property will be returned to the information point and held at the Town Council offices for 1month after the event.

Most of our traders now accept both cash and card payments, however, some may not. We don’t have a cash point available on site and the closest cash machine is some distance from site so it may be worth bringing both cash & card just in case.

Yes – access on foot is available via Mentmore Road or via the Tow Path which can be accessed from various points across Leighton-Linslade. Access by bike is also permitted and there will be bike parking facilities close to the main entrance. All bikes are left at the owners risk.

Yes – pick-up / drop off can be done from the accessible parking area in Cedars School or in the Linslade Memorial Playing Field and Garden of Remembrance car park which is a short walk from the festival site.

A one-way system will be in operation in Cedars Way and Mentmore Road to allow vehicles to enter / exit from the Canal Festival safely. Please follow directions of the stewarding team on the day. Access to Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre will be available throughout the day.
