Last Night of the Proms
The Leighton-Linslade celebration of Last Night of the Proms takes place in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground on Saturday 9th September from 7pm.
Our evening begins with renditions of popular and classical songs from Richard Stark who has performed at the European Chamber Opera, on Rhine and Danube River Cruises and at Birmingham Symphony Hall before Milton Keynes Brass take to the bandstand for their rendition of traditional British songs and sea-shanties before a live-screening of the Last Night of the Proms from the Royal Albert Hall in London. The evening concludes with a firework display to music, featuring favourites from the evening’s entertainment.
Throughout the evening, food and drink is available from Parson’s Close Café and visitors are also encouraged to bring a picnic with friends and family.
