Christmas Festival Weekend

Our Christmas Festival took place in the Town Centre on Friday 25^th until Sunday 27^th November 2022. It offered the perfect opportunity to spend time with friends, search for a gift for a loved one and enjoy the entertainment on offer.

The festival began on Friday evening with the festive market, live music and stage programme, food court and funfair as a backdrop to a spectacular firework display. A local hero nominated by LB First launched the light switch on and firework display.

On Saturday, the Charter Market had festive entertainment throughout along with the funfair and visiting Christmas themed stalls throughout the day.

Sunday saw the return of the festive market to the High Street with crafts and gifts available to purchase alongside festive entertainment, street theatre and musical performances throughout the day. The funfair and food traders returned to the High Street to round off a weekend of festive activities.
