Business Networking Event
We hope you enjoyed the Business Networking Event and made lots of useful contacts! We would like to thank our guest speaker Chris Davies from sandler.mk who delivered on two topics discussing the challenges businesses face. We hope you enjoyed the talks and found them useful.
We would like to say a BIG Thank You to our partners and sponsors for their invaluable help and who contribute greatly to this event Alpha Marketing, HASCAT Safety Ltd, Central Bedfordshire Council, Bee Local Magazine, FSB Bedfordshire, Bedfordshire Chamber and sponsor Action COACH and our hosts at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club.
Our Business Networking Event is a great way to introduce your business into the vast local business network, share business knowledge or seek out advice. Created for and supported by local businesses, the event regularly brings together over 100 representatives from businesses both small and large from within the town and surrounding areas. Many local businesses find likeminded entrepreneurs and end up working collaboratively with them. Some find the service providers they need to support their own business, for example financial, technical or marketing services that help boost business infrastructure.
Working for yourself can be a lonely thing so tapping into the network of businesses can be a life saver on all levels. We love to welcome new or existing businesses and we always like to see our frequent attendees as they obviously know that networking is essential for doing business! The networking event is a great opportunity to enhance your network and build business contacts as everyone builds back from Covid restrictions.
We host business support agencies and invite other local business networks to attend so that you can choose to join a more regular support group if you wish to. Everyone is welcome, it’s free to attend, and the event space is usually buzzing with new ideas and lively conversations.
This year we were delighted to welcome Chris Davies from Sandler Training, discussing the challenges businesses face. Chris delivered two thought provoking seminars entitled “Ever felt a ‘Buyer’ or ‘Employee’ has the upper hand?” and “Are you ‘Busy’ or are you ‘Effective’?”
We were pleased to work in partnership with local business sponsors and business support agencies for the event and we would like to thank our key partners and sponsors for their support; HASCAT Safety, Bee Local Magazine, Alpha Marketing, The Federation of Small Businesses, Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, Central Bedfordshire Council and sponsor ActionCOACH, for their support. Why not build your own networking influence and join our group of sponsors?
The Business Networking Event was a finalist in the Luton and Bedfordshire SME Business Awards 2019 in the category of Networking Group of the Year, now that’s a good reputation to have.
