Leighton-Linslade Town Council owns and manages two allotment sites:
COVID-19 update 24 March 2020: The Town Council is endeavouring to maintain our services with available resources in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes our allotment sites. For security reasons the site gates cannot be left open and limited resources do not allow us to frequently disinfect the gates and locks. Allotment holders are asked to carefully consider the current Government guidance and if you do visit your allotment site, please do so responsibly – alone, for a limited time, maintain social distancing and wash your hands frequently.
The annual price for an allotment is Half Plot £18.50 or Starter Plot £12.00 (only available at Alwin’s Field)
Allotment rent is from 1 January to 31 December and on acceptance of an Allotment you agree to pay full rental for that year plus a one off fee of £5.00 for the security gate key. From then on the rent is invoiced annually in October as nine months arrears and three months in advance.
If you are over 60 years old you will be entitled to a 50% concession, photo ID will be required (passport, driving license or bus pass).
