Linslade Canal Festival

Get ready! Linslade Canal Festival returns to Tiddenfoot Waterside Park on Saturday, 27th July 2024! This one-day event is all about celebrating canal life, conservation, the countryside, and the charm of traditional rural crafts.

Step into a world of craftsmanship with traditional craft demonstrators showcasing skills that will leave you in awe – from stick makers and skep builders to wood carvers, there’s something for everyone. Local charities passionate about the natural environment will be there to share knowledge and inspire.

Wander along the tow-path and be captivated by the working, trade, and pleasure boats joining the festivities. Trade boats offer a chance to snag handmade treasures and canal-themed memorabilia, while historic working boats transport you back in time to the canal’s golden days.

The excitement doesn’t end there! Check out the full program for a line up of music and workshops that will keep you entertained throughout the day. And for our younger visitors, a traditional hand-turned funfair awaits, adding a touch of whimsy to the day.

Inside the craft tent, discover the magic of hand and artisan crafters creating wonders before your eyes. It’s not just a festival; it’s a journey into the heart of tradition and creativity.

Mark your calendars, bring your family and friends, and immerse yourself in the Canal Festival experience. We can’t wait to share this day of joy, discovery, and community spirit with you!
