The business of the Council is conducted through five main Committees:

Can I attend meetings? Members of the public are permitted to speak at these meetings on matters relating to the individual committee’s remit. Terms of Reference detailing the areas of responsibility for each committee can be accessed via the 'Meetings' main menu option. Fifteen minutes are allowed for questions from the public at Council meetings. This allows a member of the public an opportunity to raise any matter in relation to which the Council or its committees has powers or duties for, or which effects the town. |
