The Town Council is running weekly activities at Astral Park throughout the Summer Holidays, something suitable for all ages. Come join in the fun!


 

Linslade Canal Festival

Annual Report

The Annual Report is now complete. Within this report, you will read about exciting new initiatives, including the grand opening of the Astral Sports and Community Facility, the commencement of refurbishment works on the Mentmore Road Pavilion and the temporary beach that can be enjoyed in Parson’s Close for three months in the summer. You will also see how we have managed our resources, including the precept we receive as a proportion of Council Tax paid by Leighton Buzzard and Linslade residents and the income generated by services such as the street market, hire of sports pitches, cemeteries and allotments


 

TACTIC Summer Project's

If you know any young people (aged 12 - 19) that are looking for positive things to do over the summer holiday then have a look at Tactic's Four Week Summer Programme. All activities (except Thursday's trips out) are completely free!


 

Mentmore Road Pavilion

Mentmore Road Pavilion is currently undergoing a full internal refurbishment. The project will be complete by Monday 8th September. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


 

Community Grants

The Town Council is now accepting second-round applications for General Grants 2014-2015. Grants of up to £500 avaliable.


 

Town Mayor's Coffee Morning

The Town Mayor is holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 2nd August 2014 at The White House 10am - 12pm. Tickets available from The White House. For information regarding other mayoral events please click here

Mayoral Changeover

Councillor Ray Berry was inaugurated as Town Mayor for 2014 - 2015 at the Annual Meeting of Leighton-Linslade Town Council held on Monday 19 May 2014. Councillor Berry was delighted to take up his post.Councillor David Bowater was elected as Deputy Town Mayorand will support Councillor Berry during his busy time as Town Mayor.


 

Splash and Play is now open!

The 'Splash and Play' park in Parsons Close is now open. A FREE facility in the heart of Leighton Buzzard.
